We hope that we’ve set up a website that is as friendly and informative as a visit to our shop. However, here’s an explanation of the way we work in case you wish to refer to it…
EUROPE AND BEYOND!
Having established a good track record of delivering orders within the UK, we're now ready to take on the world! So we've had an update on our website so that orders from outside the UK can be processed.
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. We have minimum order value of £10.00, so that it is cost effective in terms of time and postage for both you and us.
As we handpick all our crystals and jewellery, each item is unique – so the one that you see is the one you get when buying from us. We take items off the website once they have been sold, and aim to avoid any disappointment that items are no longer available. If it turns out that a second person buys an item before we’ve removed it, please be assured that we will offer an alternative or fully refund that person.
Items will be added to your basket once you’ve clicked to buy them, and you will see them appear in your basket on the right-hand side of your screen.
You can view your basket, where you will be able to see what the postage cost will be, and remove any items if you wish. You can go back and continue shopping or click to move onto secure payment processing. This will take you to a Paypal site, where you’ll be asked for your normal details – card holder’s name and address, card number and the last three digits on the back. You’ll be returned to our site once your payment has been processed.
Payment will not be taken, and your order will not be completed, until you have completed this stage with Paypal.
An email confirming your order will appear in your inbox shortly after.
Payment & Security
We are concerned for the security of your personal information and peace of mind, so we have chosen to work with Paypal for the Rainbow Spirit online shop. They are trusted and recognised by the online retail industry. It is arguably safer than a card transaction in a shop or over the phone because the information is securely encrypted before being transmitted online. At Rainbow Spirit, we do not receive or hold your credit card details at all.
We are a secure shopping site, so delivery is made to the card holder’s address.
UK customers - we use Royal Mail recorded delivery, which provides insurance cover and a means of tracking the order if necessary.
Our commitment is that you receive your order within 5 working days. If there is any problem or delay with your order, we’ll contact you by email to let you know and tell you how we’ll put things right.
We aim to treat your order with the same care and efficiency as if you had come into the shop personally, so we’ll be doing our best to get your items packed safely and down to the post office on the day that you order them. That said, we’re realistic, and know that in the holidays we are all hands on deck, meeting and serving visitors to the area, so Graham abandoning the good ship Rainbow Spirit for the Post Office queue may not be immediately viable.
Overseas – we deliver to the USA and Europe.
We Britons have been weighed and measured by the Royal Mail in a new and complicated way that takes into account the dimensions as well as the weight of parcels.
Our website is set up to calculate the post price bracket that your parcel will fall into. This takes into account the weight and dimensions of your order once it has been carefully padded and packed so that it will reach you safely.
These are a necessary evil. We would like you to be happy and confident in all your dealings with us, but sometimes there may be a reason for you to return an item.
Here is our returns policy:
- You have the right to return an item within 5 days of receipt. Please email us for a returns label. The item must reach us in the same condition that it left. We will refund you the price of the item, less a restocking charge of 10%.
- If the item has been wrongly sent or is damaged then we will refund you the price of the item and the associated postage cost if you email us on receipt and return the goods within 10 days.
- For hygiene reasons, we are not able to accept returns for earrings.
- To save confusion, we do not exchange items. We will cancel or refund your order and request that you place a new order.
We have copyright over all photographs and artwork on the site. Please do not copy them or use them for anything else.
The information we provide is based on our training, reading and clinical experience. It is offered for interest and as a guide. It should not be taken as an alternative to seeking professional medical advice. Always consult a GP if you have symptoms that persist or worry you.
