In mineralogy terms, the irridescent Ammonites are a variety of Aragonite that formed around the shell of prehistoric sea creatures, similar to gastropods.  The yellow crystal inside some is Calcite.

Key Healing Properties: Ammonites impart dignity and splendour, raising sacral energy and personal seductive charm.  They are used to support treatment of heart complaints, irregular cell metabolism and energy output.
