Calcite on Green Garnet
The soft tones of the Calcite perfectly portray its texture and nature. The little cluster is an out-crop on a slice with Grossular Garnet that would look equally fitting on a cake tray as the Russian region it hails from (or maybe I'm writing this too close to tea time!)
Calcite
Calcite is crystallised calcium carbonate, also known as limestone. It forms in a multitude of colours, at least one for each chakra, and is associated with energy transformation, cleansing of the old to clear the way for new energy and possibility.
