It's a short journey over to Luxulyan (near Bodmin) - and a stone named after the village - Luxulyanite (aka Luxullianite) This unique combination stone is notable for being the material that the Duke of Wellington's tomb was carved in, but it is also recognised for its healing properties. Luxulyanite contains Black Tourmaline, Cassiterite (tin), Feldspar, Mica and Granite. It is a stone of trust, aiding a well founded self-awareness, giving rise to clarity of mind, acceptance and ability to feel secure enough to move forward in life.
