Tin Candle - Tin Smelt
A fascinating piece of Cornish history, this is a 'Tin Candle' collected from the Bissoe Tin Smelting Works. Formed as a stalagmite in the process of turning Cassiterite into a useful commodity.
Tin
Native tin in its natural state, as opposed to the tin-oxide mineral Cassiterite, forms whitish-grey grains. It's often found here in Cornwall as alluvial pieces - lumps of tin that have been smoothed by years of rolling along stream beds.
Key Healing Properties: Tin has a bright energy, lifting confusion, revitalising mental agility and clearing despondency. It's used when perspective has turned sour or foggy on a situation or relationship.
Also see Cassiterite.
