Moqui Ball - Shamen Stones
These natural spheres of sandstone concretion found at the north of the Grand Canyon are known as Moqui balls after the Native American Moqui Indians of the area, and Shamen Stones because they were said to be used by the Moquis as a talisman during shamanic ceremonies. They are used as a pair, one in each hand, for meditation on soul purpose, or shamanic journeying.
