Chromite
Chromite is a member of the Spinel family, and is an iron, chromium oxide. It forms as granules, nodules or in a mass, and is black to brown, with a metalic sheen.
Key Healing Properties: Chromite is a stone of protection, acting on the base chakra, grounding the emotions, avoiding at 'break glass in case of emergency' panic response, and allowing clear thought and perception to grow so that the situation can be analysed beneficially.
